The Northwest Community Development
Institute has been hailed as one of the most

Department of Commerce, in partnership with
Business Oregon. With a top notch curriculum
and world class trainers, we have the right formula
for an experience that can give you the edge you
need in dealing with complex challenges in your
community and region. CDI will provide you with
information, a new perspective and skills you can
apply immediately. It also will provide you with an
opportunity to network with other professionals and
draw from their knowledge and experience.
After completing three years, you may choose to
pursue a Professional Community and Economic
Development (PCED) Certification.

Elected Officials and Staff, Community and Economic Development Agencies and Organizations, Non-Profits, Legislators, Chambers of Commerce, Extension Agents, Tribes, Planners, Community Volunteers and private sector representatives. The NWCDI is endorsed by the Community Development Council (CDC) and was recently recognized by Community Development Society International for superior programming that exemplifies and positively influences community development practice.
